Another Wanted: Business Card Holder

Happy Friday everyone!

Does anyone know where I can get a desktop business card holder? I'm looking for practical and not too cutesy so it will last me. My co-worker C has a cute ceramic Georgia one that's really fun. And I do work in a children's hospital so it can be fun. :) Maybe with my monogram on it?

Any suggestions? You guys are the best. :)

Found: Wellies

Thank you so much to everyone for their suggestions on the wellies! I found some cute ones at Target, being a good Scottish girl I chose plaid of course. :)

















Work is going really well - I coordinated my first visit today at the hospital! An Atlanta Falcon's player came in today, and it was awesome to see the excitement on the kids faces. It is so great to see an influential person in our Atlanta community who genuinely wants to make a difference. I'm loving my job! Hope that everyone is having a great week!

Wanted: Wellies

Does anyone know where I could get rain boots? Since we're still in a drought in Georgia, I haven't been able to find any. :) I need to get a pair for work.....we're doing a skit with the theme "April Showers Bring May Flowers" on May 1st. Any ideas?? I love J.Crew's, but they're a little more than I want to spend. I was hoping to spend around 20 bucks.

Six unimportant things about myself:
1. If there was nothing else in the pantry, I could survive on cereal alone. Especially if there were Oh's, they are so good.
2. I have a ridiculous amount of things monogrammed - anywhere from polos to lunch bags.
3. Lilly dresses don't look good on me! They look adorable on everyone else on blogger, but I don't know if its the style or what, but I can't pull it off. So disappointing.
4. Folks is one of my guilty pleasure restaurants. (so bad for you, but SO good)
5. I buy kiddy band - aids. They're so cute!
6. Hubby and I are in Jezebel this month (shameless plug I know, but I figured it could also be considered unimportant). And for the record we didn't submit the picture, my photographer did . :)

I know, I know

Happy tax day everyone! haha. So things have been a little crazy the past few weeks, and I had no internet access at home! I've been tagged on some memes that I promise I will catch up on soon, but for now I won't be able to post until the weekend. I've been able to read at work, but I can't post messages. So frustrating. And my hubby took a trip to Colorado this week (his birthday present from me) and took his laptop with him. I've been reading at work in secret though...Hope that everyone is having a great week. Heather, I'll miss reading! Don't be gone too long, okay? :)

Retail Therapy

So sorry that I have been MIA - =my new job has definitely been taking up a lot of my time as of late. But I am so grateful to have that problem! After week 2, I am definitely still loving it. It is definitely challenging, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. But it is definitely one of the most amazing feelings to know that you have enhanced the life of a child.

My husband and I haven't really been up to much lately. Nothing exciting to report. My hubby and litterally all of my unlaws had the terrible stomach bug that has been going around. Yuck. Since I had only been at my job for a week, I had to follow him around with lysol, disenfecting our house so that I didn't get sick! He didn't appreciate that too much. But so far so good! The sickness has gotten the best of me yet! Knowing my luck, I'll get it after everyone is feeling better! We'll see.......

Since things have been pretty slow around the house, I went shopping yesterday! Woohoo! I picked up some really cute tops from Ann Taylor loft, pants from GAP (thanks for the heads up Kiki!!) and more tops from Macy's! It was great. But I was getting a little discouraged. Everything is so springy, which I love, but I can't wear very much of this at my new job. Rules are as follows: no capris, no open toed shoes, and no dresses without panty hose if it is above mid calf. Hello?? I live in Georgia where the temp gets to 100 plus humidity! Any suggestions??

Speaking of suggestions, thanks to everyone for your help finding cute shoes. I got a really cute pair from Ann Taylor, but I can't find them on the website. It's really strange. Their navy blue flats with a white and green grosgrain ribbon laced throughout ending at the top with a bow. So cute! I don't think that my discription does them justice at all of course. And they're only 24 dollars.
