First things first, September 21st was our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had a really nice weekend to celebrate. My husband wanted to crash a wedding at our reception location to celebrate - it would have been hilarious, but all I could think about was how much it cost a head for the person getting married! :) Instead, we went to a church service where our ceremony was held and out for brunch at J.Christopher's. My husband made homemade pizza for dinner and then we had our wedding cake top for dessert. Yeah, not as good the second time around.....
My husband did give me an anniversary gift that I certainly wasn't expecting....diamond earrings! I love them, and I haven't taken them off since. And what did I get him you ask? Yeah, a card! I should have known better, but we said we weren't going to do presents. We'd love to move to a bigger house soon, so I thought that we were watching our spending. Oops.
I have to admit, I've got the baby bug right now. How can I resist with all of the cute pregnant bloggers out there! :) I also have 3 girlfriends that are expecting, so it's everywhere. I'm going to try and ignore my maternal instincts for as long as I can! And besides, I can live vicariously through all of you! :)
And a thank you to Laura Stone of Artstar Photography. We still love our wedding pictures 1 year later, and will continue to do so for many, many years to come. You are truly the best and we feel so lucky to have had you be the one to capture our wedding day. xoxo
